Prayer

Prayer is a very important part of our church life. We encourage everyone to develop a healthy personal prayer life as well as having times for people to come together to pray. As we pray we step into the presence of the Almighty God, Creator of the universe, the one who made us, loves us, and cares for us. We know that God is waiting for us to come to Him, and that as we seek Him so we will find Him.

On a Sunday we start our day with a time of prayer before our morning worship service. This is a great way to prepare our hearts and minds and to focus ourselves on God. We meet from 10.10am in the Chapel.

On the first Tuesday of every month we meet together as a whole church for an evening of prayer. It is a time when we can stand together as a church as we come before our great God. These evenings are an important part of our church life. There is something significant and powerful when we all come together to pray for each other and our community. We meet from 8pm - 9.30pm (approx) in the Chapel.

Our Prayer Room is a place for reflection, confession, and intercession.

The Prayer Room is also a place where members of the Church come during the week either on their own or in small groups for specific times of prayer.

In addition to these set opportunities for prayer, we are also happy to pray individually with people. Often this happens after one or our meetings, but private appointments can also be made for specific times of prayer. This would normally be arranged by talking to one of the Church Leaders.
